Caring for Your Jewellery

Treat your jewellery with love and it will love you right back.

We know life is busy — and while we’d love to say we carefully clean and store our jewellery after every wear, that’s not always realistic! However, a few simple care tips can help keep your pieces looking their best:

• Keep jewellery away from dirt, perfume, make-up, hairspray and other harsh chemicals. Jewellery should always be the final step when getting dressed.
• Fashion jewellery isn’t designed to withstand excessive wear. Please remove pieces when cleaning, showering, gardening, swimming, playing sports or washing dishes. Avoid contact with water wherever possible.
• When not being worn, store your jewellery individually in a box or pouch to keep it dust-free, dry and tangle-free.
  Top tip: If you’re travelling to a humid climate, place a small piece of chalk in your jewellery box to help absorb moisture — who knew?!
• Over time, plated jewellery may naturally tarnish. You can help prolong its life by keeping it out of direct sunlight and storing it in a jewellery box when not in use.
• Some of our jewellery is 18ct gold or silver plated. These pieces can be gently cleaned using warm soapy water and a soft cloth, rinsed thoroughly and dried carefully.
